The levels with water and the frog suit are near impossible. The later worlds were so damn hard! I still play it sometimes and cannot get even close to beating it anymore. I only beat it with the help of some friends. The first game I remember beating was Super Mario 3 for the Super Nintendo. Ironically, its spiritual successor, Perfect Dark, had the hardest final mission of any game I’ve played.

It was called The Cradle which was fitting because it was so easy compared to the missions before that they were almost babying the player. I actually remember the final level embarrassingly well. The first video game I passed was Goldeneye on the N64. I always wanted to play Leisure Suit Larry when I was little. That was probably the first game I ever beat too. Give me a 7up and I can whoop your ass.ĪH! I loved Reader Rabbit. I was the queen of attacking my enemies with soda bubbles. The first game I passed? Cool Spot on Sega Genesis. Love the podcast, and this one is especially awesome. Dr Horrible is my favorite product of the writer’s strike. On a related note, Geek and Sundry is amazing. I have looked everywhere to see if I can get a copy because like so many games from my childhood, I would love to play it again. Or maybe it’s because I was in elementary school. It was a point and click puzzle game and it was (pardon my French) REALLY FUCKING HARD.
